Our Story
Kapra Medical Transportation was founded in 2013 by Andrew Forgács with a clear mission: provide safe, caring, and quality non-emergency medical transport to Northern New Jersey residents and the facilities that serve them.
We started small. We grew the fleet steadily. We've stayed family-run, locally-rooted, and focused on quality over scale.
What's changed in over a decade: the team is larger, the fleet is bigger, the partnerships are deeper. What hasn't changed: every transport gets the same care we'd want for our own family.

We operate a 12-vehicle fleet, maintained on a strict service schedule and inspected regularly.
Ford Transit Ambulances
Stretcher-equipped for hospital discharge, inter-facility transfers, and patients requiring lying-down transport. Staffed by BLS-certified EMTs.
Ford Transit MAVs
Mobility Assistance Vehicles — wheelchair-accessible with hydraulic lifts and secure tie-down systems. For patients who travel in their wheelchair.

Our drivers are BLS-certified EMTs trained in patient handling, safe transfers, and dignified care. Every member of the team — from dispatch to the people behind the wheel — is committed to consistent, quality service.
We monitor every transport for consistency. We listen when concerns come up. We update our protocols regularly to learn from existing best practices and stay ahead of the curve.
